How to view results and analysis functions
You can view the results after conducting the Engagement Survey.
Here, we will explain the features available for analysis using the results for “Overall” as an example. Please note that the result screens for each department or attribute item may differ slightly, so refer to “How to read the Corporate Diagnostic Survey” for details.

Result Screen
1. Select Survey Date
- Select the Engagement Survey you want to view. The displayed date is the survey start date.
- To the right of the date, the name of the action plan manager and the number of respondents will be shown.
2. Organization/Attribute Overview
Click "Overall" to display a list of all organizational units and attributes.
Others
- If custom analysis items include the selected organization, results will be shown. If none are registered, nothing will be displayed.
- If a user does not have viewing permissions, “No data available” will appear when selecting items from the sidebar.
Results within the Hierarchy
- When an organizational unit or attribute is selected, results for that selection will be listed. Engagement rating distribution is shown at the top of the screen.
- Results for sub-units under parent units are also displayed.
- You can switch between “Department Count” and “Percentage”, and between “4-level” and “11-level” rating views.
Sorting
① Click the ▲ or ▼ icons under “Score” to sort results.
② Open the dropdown menu to view score differences in overall satisfaction:
- Compared to Overall: Difference from the organization’s overall score

Compared to Previous: Difference from the previous survey
※Not available for the first survey.
Showing Items Without Scores
Unchecking “Show only items with scores” will display items with a score of 0.0.
3. Engagement Score & Rating
- Engagement Score: A deviation score representing employee engagement (mutual affinity), calculated from answers to questions based on social psychology.
- Engagement Rating: Engagement scores are ranked into 11 levels from "AAA" to "DD". The screen meter position changes based on this rating.

Engagement Score Trend:
- Shows trends in engagement scores and respondent counts.
- Enable "Respondent Count" to view participant numbers.
- Scroll horizontally to see past data.
4. Overall Satisfaction (Company, Job, Supervisor, Workplace)
- Displays satisfaction levels for each of the four areas.
- ⬆⬇ arrows indicate trends vs. previous results or overall scores.
- "Overall Comparison" shows the difference from the overall score on each item's screen.
- Bar graph colors:
- Red: Highest score
- Blue: Lowest score
- Gray: All scores are equal
Overall Satisfaction Trend: View historical satisfaction trends. You can see up to 3 past results if you have permission for one survey, or all past results if you have full access. A “σ” mark appears when there is notable response variation.
5. 16 Areas: Expectations vs. Satisfaction
This "4eyes Window" visualizes 16 engagement factors across two axes—expectation and satisfaction—into four quadrants:
- High Expectation × High Satisfaction: Strength
- High Expectation × Low Satisfaction: Weakness
- Low Expectation × High Satisfaction: Low urgency
- Low Expectation × Low Satisfaction: Low urgency
Clicking an item shows detailed results on the right. You can also filter by domains such as "Company", "Direct Supervisor", or "Workplace".
6. Strengths and Weaknesses by Item
- Derived from expectation and satisfaction scores per item.
- Strengths and weaknesses are displayed in list form.
- Clicking an item shows its score trend. (Custom items excluded)
7. Item Score Analysis
View expectation and satisfaction scores per item.
① Use ▲ or ▼ to sort items. ② Use the dropdown to view score differences:
- Expectation vs. Satisfaction: Shows their difference.
- Compared to Overall: Difference from overall average.
- Compared to Previous: Previous vs. current score. If not available, "-" is displayed.
- Impact on Engagement Score: Numerical value showing how much each item affects the overall engagement score. Higher values mean more impact. Useful when identifying areas to improve.
- View Detailed Results: Click an item to see its score trend.

You can download the “Data Sheet” and “Survey Summary” for the item you are viewing.
