Correct the result data
What is Result Data Correction?
Result Data Correction is a feature that allows users to correct the organization and attribute information linked to a user if there were errors after the responses have been compiled. This function enables re-compilation of the results based on the corrected information. Note that response data cannot be deleted or edited.
Operation Procedure
If this operation is necessary, please ensure it is completed before registering any improvement items.
1. Click on "Engagement Survey Result Data Correction” in the “Admin Panel"
2. Select the "Character Encoding" and click "Export Respondent Information"
Character Encoding
You can choose from the following character encodings:
UTF-8
A multilingual character encoding that supports platform-dependent characters and foreign languages.
Shift-JIS
A commonly used character encoding for Japanese.
Note: Using platform-dependent characters or foreign languages not supported by Shift-JIS may result in character corruption (mojibake).
3. Modify the downloaded data
Example: If Sample User 03 selected the wrong organization/attribute

<Caution>
- If a row is deleted from the CSV file, the user's response data for that organization/attribute will be removed. However, it will not be deleted from the overall results.
- If you modify the first row or columns A to C in the CSV file, it will result in an upload error.
- Column C, "ID", is output for users who are registered with an ID or for those who responded using a paper survey (when using LM-DOC).
4. Click "Import File" and select the created CSV file, then click "Review and update changes"
5. Confirm the modified organization/attribute and the Action Plan Manager, then check "Confirm the above details" and click "Start the Update Process"
6. Modify the user’s organization/attribute information in User Settings
- Once you correct the result data, the survey results for the modified organization/attribute will be automatically recompiled.

Changes made in "Result Data Correction" will only be reflected in the results and will not be applied to the user settings. Be sure to modify the respondent's organization/attribute in User Settings before the Focus Survey or the next Engagement Survey.

If you want to reflect the organization/attribute selected by respondents in the Engagement Survey in the User Settings
You can download a list file that reflects the organization/attribute selected by respondents on the survey answer screen from "Export User List from Engagement Survey Responses."
Refer to this data to modify the user's organization/attribute in User Settings.
The file downloaded here cannot be directly uploaded into User Settings. Be sure to use the bulk settings file for User Settings when uploading.
Users Subject to Result Data Correction
The following users are eligible for result data correction:
- Users registered with an email address in Motivation Cloud Engagement
- Users registered with an ID
- Users linked with an account in LINE WORKS
- Users who responded to the Engagement Survey via paper survey
<Caution>
Organization/attribute information cannot be corrected for users who responded without registering an email address (QR/URL respondents).
