Correct the result data
What is Results Data Correction?
Engagement Survey Results Data Correction is a feature that allows you to correct Organization/Attribute information and recompile the results even after response compilation, if a respondent selected the wrong organization or attribute. Corrections can be made until the start of response compilation for the next Survey.
Please note that response data itself cannot be deleted or edited.
Procedure
1. Click "Admin" ▶ "Engagement Survey Results Data Correction"
2. Select "Character Encoding" and click "Export Respondent Information"
Character Encoding
You can select from the following character encodings.
UTF-8
A multilingual character encoding that supports machine-dependent characters and foreign languages.
Shift-JIS
A character encoding commonly used for Japanese.
If you use characters not supported by Shift-JIS, such as machine-dependent characters or foreign languages, garbled text may occur.
3. Edit the downloaded data
Example: If Sample User 04 selected the wrong organization/attribute

・If you delete a row from the CSV file, the response data of the user in that row will be removed from the corresponding organization/attribute. However, it will not be removed from the overall results. ・If you modify the first row or columns A to C in the CSV file, an upload error will occur. ・Column C "ID" is output for users who have an ID registered or users who responded via paper survey (when using LM-DOC). |
4. Click "Import File", select the created CSV file, and click "Review and Update Changes"
5. Check the organizations/attributes and Action Plan Managers to be changed, select "I have reviewed the above", and click "Start Update"
6. Update the user’s organization and attribute information in User Settings

・When Results Data Correction is performed, the survey results for the corrected organizations/attributes are automatically recompiled. ・Changes made in "Results Data Correction" are reflected only in the results and are not reflected in User Settings. Be sure to update the respondent’s organization and attributes in User Settings before the next Focus Survey or Engagement Survey. |

If you want to reflect the organization/attribute selected by respondents in the Engagement Survey in User Settings
From "Export User List at the Time of Engagement Survey Response", you can download a list file that reflects the organizations and attributes selected by respondents on the answer screen. Refer to this data and update the user’s organization and attributes in User Settings.
The file downloaded here cannot be uploaded directly to User Settings. Be sure to use the bulk User Settings file for upload.
Detailed Specifications
Users Eligible for Result Data Corrections
The following users are eligible for result data corrections.
- Users with an email address registered in Motivation Cloud Engagement
- Users with a registered ID
- Users whose accounts are linked with LINE WORKS
- Users who responded to the Organizational Diagnosis Survey using a booklet

Organizations and attributes cannot be corrected for users who responded without registering an email address (QR code/URL respondents). |
Reflection in the Additional Question Response List
Even if result data corrections are made after downloading the Additional Question response list, the corrections will not be reflected in the Additional Question response list. For details, please refer to "Detailed Specifications: About Data Reflection" in "Check the results of additional questions (Comments)".
Result Data Corrections After Starting Preparation for the Next Survey
Even after clicking the "Start Preparation" button, you can still correct the latest result data that had already been reflected on the Result Screen before clicking the button. However, organizations and attributes that were added or renamed after clicking the button cannot be corrected.
If you want the changes to be reflected in the latest survey results, change the organizations and attributes and correct the result data before clicking "Start Preparation."
