Notes on Custom Tabulation Advanced Settings
Custom tabulation detail items can be created, deleted, or renamed for each survey conducted.
Points to Note When Registering New Items
- If the number of respondents is below the minimum threshold, the results of the custom tabulation items in the advanced settings will not be displayed. However, the registration information will still be visible in the admin panel.
- When conducting an Engagement Survey for the first time, you can register custom tabulation items after the survey has started. Pre-registration before the survey begins is not allowed.
- There is no upper limit to the number of custom tabulation items that can be registered, but up to 200 items can be registered at one time in the advanced settings. To register more than 200 items, please add the additional items after completing the initial registration.
- If duplicate combinations of basic and advanced items are configured, the advanced items will be deleted at the start of the next Engagement Survey response period.
Points to Note When Renaming Items
- Changing department or attribute item names will not automatically update the names in the advanced settings. If you also want to change the names of the advanced items, please do so using one of the following options:
- "Custom Tabulation Advanced Settings" "Bulk Edit Item Names"
- "Custom Tabulation Advanced Settings" Select the item to edit from the list "Edit"
- Combinations of department and attribute items cannot be changed. To view a new combination, please register it as a new item.
Points to Note When Deleting Items
- If the departments or attribute items that form the basis of custom tabulation items in the advanced settings are deleted, the custom tabulation items will remain but will no longer appear in the results of subsequent surveys.

Relationship Between Custom Tabulation Advanced Settings and Previous Comparison Settings
- Custom tabulation items can be configured for previous comparison only for the most recent survey with available results.
- To display previous comparison results for custom tabulation items, register the items in the survey immediately before the most recent one and configure the comparison settings.
- To change the previous comparison settings for custom tabulation items, do so before the next Engagement Survey response period begins. Once the response period starts, the previous comparison settings screen will be updated with the new survey’s data.

- If a custom tabulation item linked to a "Department/Attribute Item from the Previous Survey" in the previous comparison settings is deleted, the link will be removed and the previous comparison will no longer be shown on the results screen.
