Organization Bulk Settings:(2nd and subsequent times): Edit the Organization list file
You can add, edit, or delete existing organizations in bulk by editing the organization list file and uploading it.
Before making changes to organization information
If you need to update organization and attribute information in preparation for the next Engagement Survey
Please start the preparation process from “Admin” ▶ “Engagement Survey Implementation Settings.”
You can register organization and attribute information for the next survey without changing the organization and attribute names displayed in already published survey results.
If you need to change the language settings for organizations and attributes
Please configure the language settings before downloading the organization list file.
Set Organization/Attribute Language
When editing the CSV file for bulk settings
we recommend that you always download the latest version and edit it to avoid upload errors.
Add Organizational Units and Departments
Add a Department
Example: Add “General Affairs Department” under “Division”
- Columns A and B: Enter the existing organizational unit code and name
- Column C: Enter the corresponding hierarchy level
- Columns D and E: Enter the new department code and department name
- Columns F and G: Enter the parent department code and parent department name
Insert a blank row where you want to add the department, and enter the department information

Enter the information for the organizational units and departments to be registered in Columns A to G

If you want respondents to select a department in the survey
Rename Organizational Units and Departments
Please make sure to check the following before editing.

Do not edit the organizational unit code or department code. Existing departments will be deleted. If you want to edit the department code, please refer to the manual below. The organizational unit code cannot be edited.
Operation Manual: Change Department Code / Attribute Item Code
- If the same organizational unit name appears in multiple cells, you must update all of them. Leaving any unchanged will cause an error.
- In subsequent surveys, if you change a department name before preparing for implementation, the name will also be changed in the latest published survey results.
Change the name of an organizational unit (Column B) or department (Column E)
Delete Organizational Units and Departments
Please make sure to check the following before deleting a department.
- If you delete all departments in an organizational unit, the organizational unit itself will also be deleted.
- If a deleted department is included in a custom tabulation item, that item will no longer be calculated. Previously calculated results will not be deleted.
- If you delete a department linked in hierarchy settings, the linkage will be invalid. Please reconfigure the hierarchy settings.
- If you delete a department, the department information of users in that department will be removed. Please reassign the department in User Settings.
Delete a Department
Example: Delete “Administration Headquarters” from “Headquarters”
If the department to be deleted is a parent department, you must also update Columns F and G. To assign a new parent department, enter the new parent department code and name.

Change the Display Order of Departments
Reordering departments is only possible within the same organizational unit.
You cannot move a configured department to a different organizational unit.
To change the display order of departments, rearrange the order in the CSV file
The display order of organizational units cannot be changed
The display order of organizational units is determined by the number in the hierarchy level (Column C). Changing the row order in the CSV file will not affect it.
Change the Organizational Unit of a Department
Example: Move “Development Headquarters” from the organizational unit “Headquarters” to “Division”
① Change the organizational unit code, organizational unit name, and hierarchy level number
② Change the department name if necessary
The previous survey data will be automatically linked in the next survey. You do not need to manually update the linkage.

If view permissions have been granted to Action Plan Managers via “View Permission Rule Settings”
Changes made in Organization Settings will not be reflected automatically. Please click “View Permission Settings” “Grant / Update Permissions” to apply the permissions.

Other Specifications
- If you edit the first row of the CSV file, an import error will occur.
- Organizational unit codes and department codes cannot be duplicated.
- There may be limits on the number of departments depending on your plan.

If using the Admin Panel in English
The organization names displayed in the file may not switch languages. Even if the Admin Panel is in English, organization names may appear in Japanese. To display them in English, please register them in English in the Japanese name field of Organization Settings.
