What is an IP address?

There are two types of "IP addresses" that you can register with Motivation Cloud Engagement. One IP address is used to receive emails sent from Motivation Cloud Engagement and the other IP address is used to restrict access to Motivation Cloud Engagement.

 

Registering an IP address to receive email

In order to be able to receive emails sent from Motivation Cloud Engagement, you may need to register the IP address of Motivation Cloud Engagement in the white list of your company's email server.

IP address registration to restrict access

You can restrict access to Motivation Cloud Engagement by IP address. For example, if you want to restrict access to Motivation Cloud Engagement and the Survey answer screen to a specific office, you can register the IP address of that office to prevent access from other environments.
