2024/09/26 The Attribute Settings and Member Settings features will be renewed.
We had previously postponed the release scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th, but since we have confirmed that it meets the quality standards, it will now be carried out on Thursday, September 26th.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused.
This release aims to update the method of registering member and attribute information and enhance usability in preparation for future integration with HR systems.
1. The "Attribute Settings" feature will be divided into "Organization Settings" and "Attribute Settings"
Before the Change
- All attributes, such as organization, age, and position, had to be registered in "Attribute Settings".
- Hierarchy settings for attributes were only applicable to organizational attributes, such as departments in the organizational chart.
- Attribute codes were automatically generated during attribute registration.
- The previously set attribute could not be moved to a different hierarchy. (Updated on 2024/9/24)
After the Change
- The "Attribute Settings" feature will now be split into "Organization Settings" and "Attribute Settings".
- Organization Settings: Register departments and units to which users belong, according to the organization chart.
- Attribute Settings: Register user attributes unrelated to the organization, such as position, title, and gender.
- Hierarchy settings will be available in both "Organization Settings" and "Attribute Settings". Use "Attribute Settings" to define hierarchies for attributes not included in the organizational chart, such as areas and branches.
- Department codes and attribute item codes (formerly attribute codes) will no longer be generated automatically. When registering new entries, you will need to manually set the appropriate codes.
- It will now be possible to move departments that have already been set to a different hierarchy. (Updated on 2024/9/24)
Example: Move the department "Sales Division" from hierarchy level "1" to hierarchy level "2."
*Attribute hierarchy of Attribute Items cannot be changed at this time (added on 12/18/2024).
This update will also result in changes to the display in Motivation Cloud.
For more information on the differences between "Organization Settings" and "Attribute Settings", please refer to Differences Between Organization Settings and Attribute Settings.
Attributes set with hierarchy in the "Old Attribute Settings" will automatically be transferred to "Organization Settings".
2. Changes to "User Settings" (formerly "Member Settings")
The "Member Settings" will be renamed to "User Settings"
The display names of registration items in "User Settings" will also be updated as follows:
Note:
- The content of each permission will remain unchanged.
- Registering the last name, first name, and phonetic reading is optional.
You will now be able to check user login status and resend account activation emails
- You will be able to check user login status.
- You will be able to resend account activation emails to users who have not logged in, provided the email has already been sent. You cannot resend it to users who have logged in at least once.
- You will be able to check the status of account activation emails in the "List of Sent Emails" on the "User Settings" screen.
In line with these changes, the design of the "List of scheduled email" screen will also be updated.
Note:
If you upload CSV files for "Old Attribute Settings" or "Old Member Settings" downloaded prior to this release, an error will occur. Please download the latest CSV file and re-upload it.
3. Changes to the "Organization/Attribute Selection During Survey Response" feature in the Engagement Survey
If you enable the "Allow respondents to select organization/attribute" option in the Engagement Survey, the method for confirming the organization/attribute selected by respondents will change.
Before the Change
When respondents were allowed to select their organization/attribute, the selected attribute information was automatically reflected in User Settings (formerly Member Settings) in real time.
After the Change
When respondents are allowed to select their organization/attribute, the selected organization/attribute information will no longer be automatically reflected in User Settings (formerly Member Settings).
To reflect the organization/attribute information selected by respondents in User Settings, follow these steps:
1.Download the list file from the "Results Data Correction" screen.
2. Reflect the information in the bulk setting file for User Settings and upload it.
4. The "Home" screen will be discontinued
All functions will now be accessible from either the "Admin" screen or the "Results/Improvements" screen.
With this change, "Operation Setting" previously found on the "Home" screen will also be accessible from the "Admin" screen.
