Types of Answer Data for Additional Questions
There are four types of answer data for additional questions.
The confirmation method differs depending on the answer data. Please check the table below for details.

*1 Advance configuration is required to display average values. This can be configured only for questions whose answer format is “Single Choice.” Please check “Register, edit, or delete additional questions” for details.
*2 Action Plan Managers can check only the results for the departments they are assigned to in “Action Plan Manager Settings” or “View Permissions Settings.”

Before Checking Results
Configure Questions Previous Comparison
Questions Previous Comparison Settings is a feature that enables you to compare the results of additional questions (Choice) with the previous survey.
Configure this setting when conducting the second and subsequent surveys.
When Previous Comparison Settings is configured, the previous comparison for each question is displayed on the additional questions analysis screen.
This feature applies only to Choice questions. It cannot be used for Comment questions.

If the questions are automatically linked to the previous survey, this setting is not required. Configure Question Previous Comparison Settings only in either of the following cases.

Operation Steps
① “Admin” ▶ “Engagement Survey Implementation Settings”
② Click “Additional Questions”
③ Click “Previous survey comparison settings”
④ Click “Edit”
⑤ For “Current Survey,” select the questions and choices from the previous survey to link
⑥ Click “Save”
Detailed Specifications
1. Cases where the previous comparison link is removed
- When the answer format of a question is changed
Example: Changing “Single Choice” to “Multiple Choice” or “Free Text” - When answer choices are added or deleted
2. Period during which Question Previous Comparison Settings can be configured or changed
The Previous Comparison Settings for the current survey can be configured or changed during the period from when you click the “Start Implementation Preparation” button for the current survey
until you click the “Start Implementation Preparation” button for the next survey.
Example: When configuring Previous Comparison Settings for the survey conducted on October 6, 2025,
you can configure or change the settings during the period from “Start Implementation Preparation for the October 6, 2025 Survey” until immediately before “Start Implementation Preparation for the March 1, 2026 Survey.”

Check Results
Check on the Results Screen
Click “Results / Improvements” ▶ “Click here for Additional Question Results”
You can check compiled data such as the number of respondents, answer percentages, and average values.

Download Method
①Click “Results / Improvements” ▶ “Click here for Additional Question Results” ▶ “Download”
② Click “Select format” for the data you want to download
・Additional Question (Choice) Data: Scores for all questions
・Additional Question (Choice) Time-Lapse Comparison Data: Comparison with the previous survey
You can select the file language and character encoding as needed.
③ Select the target for the downloaded file, then click “Download”
Additional Question (Choice) Data
Select the file format before downloading.
・Answer Percentage: Answer percentage data for each choice
・Average Value: Average score data for each question
Additional Question (Choice) Time-Lapse Comparison Data
For time-lapse comparison data, select the target and format before downloading.
When downloading data for “Custom Tabulation Basic,” select the target organization/attribute.

For additional questions (Choice), when Organization/Attribute Settings are changed or result data is corrected, the changes are reflected on the Results Screen and in the various result data files. |
